I continue to find this podcast to be a great mental support. Whether he’s giving us a boiling hot-take or, like this episode, a continuing look at Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Blindboy’s calm, rational, plain-spoken programme often improves my immediate mental health.
I guess the challenge is to put into practice what he’s talking about and not just think about it when I’m listening to the podcast.
I was also reflecting that it’s nice that the podcast often includes a few minutes”thinking time” at the end where the background piano chords continue for a bit to give you a chance to really internalise what the podcast was about. This part of learning and embedding new information is not something I do very much, but perhaps I should, rather than reaching to the next article.
