🎥 Watched : Trainspotting 2
Trainspotting 2 (which I watched ages ago) more than any other film I can think of, really pulls into sharp relief how much the world has changed since the mid-1990s when the first movie was released.
A combination of being alive at the time, the freshness of the first movie and the fidelity with which it was recorded (compared even with films made a decade previous) tricks my mind into thinking that it wasn’t *really* all that long ago. Or even if it was, then 24 years isn’t *really* that long ago in the grand scheme of things. But it is!
