I missed the first episode, but I’ll definitely be catching up before the third and final episode is broadcast in a week’s time. I found this episode to be an interesting listen of the impact of the Irish in Britain at a time when famine drove them from their homes and Britain’s expanding industries were hoovering up as much labour-power as it possibly could.
